Born in Barcelona in 1960, where he continues to live and work, Pérez-Porro is recognized for paintings built from layered color compositions and rhythmic geometric patterns.Víctor Pérez-Porro's geometric abstraction style is defined by a deliberately restrained visual vocabulary: sequential repetition, alternating vertical and horizontal color bands, and optical effects that recall the Op Art and kinetic art movements of the 1960s.
